The largest party island in Europe celebrates its sporting comeback

The comeback of the year is now finally fixed. After a pandemic break in 2020 and two years at the Heumarkt, Austria's biggest beach volleyball tournament returns to the Danube Island!.

The legendary Danube Island was the venue of the World Championships 2017 and the Beach Majors 2018 and 2019. In 2023 it will be the venue of the European Championships for the first time.

"Back on the big stage"

"With the return to the Danube Island, we can once again offer the fans as well as the athletes and our partners the usual big stage again", says the CEO of ACTS Hannes Jagerhofer.

The A1 CEV EuroBeachVolley Vienna 2023 promises to be a tremendous spectacle with which Vienna will once again set standards and live up to its reputation as beach mekka.
