How to get there

That's the way to the Red Bull Beach Arena

Lothringerstraße 22, 1030 Vienna

Public transportation:

We recommend arriving at the location by public transport. Thanks to the metro line U4 (green line), the event location of the A1 CEV BeachVolley Nations Cup in Vienna is perfectly connected and can be reached easily. Get off at station Stadtpark and use the exit “Johannesgasse” for the fastest route. Once you leave the station, cross the street and follow Lothringer Straße to get directly to the Beach Arena.

If you are planning to arrive by tram, take line 2 and get off at Schwarzenbergplatz. Follow Pestalozzigasse, which leads you past the Brazilian embassy right to Lothringer Straße. Turn left here and you can already see our location.

When arriving by bus, we recommend to take bus line 4A and get off at Akademietheater and follow Lothringer Straße in direction of the city center.

Helpful hint: You can easily figure out your ideal route by using the WienMobil App!

 Citybike:

In the immediate vicinity of the ViennaHeumarkt there are three Citybike stations from where you can easily walk to the A1 CEV BeachVolley Nations Cup.

Suburban train

Coming from the airport Wien-Schwechat you take the S7 to Landstraße-Wien Mitte. The train leaves every 30 minutes from the airport. Here you either change to the U4 subway line in the direction of Karlsplatz and get off at Stadtpark or take the opportunity to stretch your legs via the urban park oasis, along the Wienflussportal and past the Johann Strauss monument to the event location. Walking time: approximately 12 minutes.

By foot

From the historic core and landmark of Vienna, the St. Stephen’s Cathedral, you pass St. Stephen’s Square and Vienna’s most famous shopping mile, the Kärntner Straße, which leads you straight to the Johannesgasse after about 5 minutes on foot. From here you either turn right to pay a visit to Empress Sisi in the Capuchins’ Crypt at Neuer Markt or you turn left where Johannesgasse will lead you directly to the beach volleyball mecca in about 10 minutes.
