Surprising out in the quarterfinals for Beachvolley Vikings

The favored Norwegian duo Mol/Sørum was already eliminated in the quarterfinals against the Dutch Luini/de Groot.
Already in the first set, it was clear that the Dutch pairing wanted to and could challenge the previously undefeated Norwegians for the role of favorites. In the end, however, Anders Mol and Christian Sørum were able to win clearly with great individual actions 21:16.
In the second set, Luini/de Groot got off to the better start and quickly took the lead. After the Norwegian Beach Heroes manage to equalize, the Dutch duo pulls away again with 5 points in a row and does not give this lead out of their hands. The set goes clearly to Luini/de Groot with 21:14.
After a lightning start by the Dutch, the deciding set was also characterized by great points on both sides. After 2 brilliant points by Anders Mol, Yorick de Groot brings about the decision with a longline ball and seals the fate of the Beach Vikings.
